ZUO Launches new Indoor / Outdoor Upholstery for the Chicago Casual Market
As the consumer buying power drives the Casual Market to deliver more options for stylish outdoor spaces, wholesale manufacture ZUO develops a new line of upholstery for indoor & outdoor use and a line of home accents for outdoor. Offering both the affordability, comfort and style, with individual personalization that consumers crave.
ZUO also developed products for the Casual Market from their new division of ZUO Décor. This line of outdoor accents includes planters, garden stools and lanterns to help accessorize, accents and light the outdoor space. Each with their own set of fun colors and patterns to add the finishing touch to their outdoor design.
ZUO CEO Luis Ruesga commented on the new collections, “As an outdoor manufacturer, we aim to always stay ahead of the trends, while keeping up with buyer demands. Seeing this recent shift in the market we created new introductions debuting at the ICFA Casual Market. One which is more modern, called the Fiji Collection; featuring an urban lounge style with a modern, clean lines and a modular low profile in warm grey outdoor fabric. The other is more transitional called the Ojai Collection; which includes a Sofa and Arm chair plus matching ottoman. The Ojai got the most interest from buyers as they were almost shocked that it’s for outdoor use. Surprising that the elegant frame and refined style looks like a high end indoor upholstery. Our design team initially developed the Ojai with the beautiful sloped arms, both plush seat and back pillows and a stylish high back giving it the look of indoor upholstery. We included industry leader Sunproof; who creates high end outdoor fabric, with solution dyed acrylic, water wicking and UV resistance technology. We even tested it during the LV Market by pouring hot coffee just to shock guests, and the fabric wasn't affected at all. The coffee just beaded up and rolled right off onto the floor. Truly this new collection and the introduction of our ZUO Décor outdoor accents set us apart from other exhibitors and offer a new fresh look; giving buyers something we have not offered before. I can’t wait to see the response this week during the Casual Market. “
